Love these pants - I have the black - the cut is very different from the typical barrel type that is so common now. I love the elastic band in the back which is balanced by the unique strap/button details in the front. Most of all, I love the roomy but not shapeless cut of the leg. I'd come back... for other colors if they were available in my size. I'm 5'2" 100lb. The XXSP is still a tad roomy at the waist and I am thick waisted. Sizing could be more consistent across various clothing items (XXS in linen shorts is a tad snug) - although I know some of it is due to where the waistband settles (high vs. mid/low). Love these modern styles, BR ...keep these coming. I am a renewed fan as I've recently rediscovered BR...from back in the good ol' BR t-shirts back in the college and HS days of the late 80s/90s.
I have been shopping at BR for the better part of 30 years and this is my first review. I am incredibly disappointed in these pants. First, the fabric is not the level of quality I'd expect from a pair of pants this price. (The green, though pretty, is also not as vivid as in the photos.) Second, I ...washed these for the first time on delicate and hung them to dry, only to discover that the hem on one leg has already come out. If these had been $40, I'd be content to resew it and not complain. But these were expensive, and even with the 30% discount I had, not worth the price at all. On the plus side, they are a flattering cut.

Surprised at comments about material. I found the cotton rather cheap and thin feeling. Got them on sale and still didn't think they were worth it, returning.

Fell in love with these pants in the store. They have so much character! The cure for the common crop. I sized down a bit since I'm short and wanted them to sit nice and high on my waist. Material feels light and versatile for 3 seasons. Color works with white or navy tops.

really cute pants, great waist detail but the sizing is off, typically I wear a medium, and had to return for a size small.

I am 5'1/110 got Small. I should have gotten XS. Waist has elastic in the back which I'm not a fan of, but I liked the front and side closure so I kept. I dont have this rust/mauve color so I thought I'd try it. Can't seem to match too much with the navy stripe other than navy, so I may not get much wear. Waist on these is 14". Too many closure buttons its like wearing armor! I dont even bother with all the buttons in case I have to take them off quickly, it would be frustrating. Lightweight fabric, best to wait for a deeper discount.

I am so happy with these pants! They are super flattering, lightweight & stylish! The lightweight part is perfect for hot Texas summers & I get compliments every time i wear them! I am 5'8, 148lbs and the Small is perfection on me. the length hits right above my ankle.

I wanted to like these so much because the fabric and construction are excellent. Unfortunately, the size jump between XS and S feels too significant. The S was very loose on me, while the XS was far too tight. Also, there are way too many buttons to get those pants on, which makes them less practical for all-day wear.
