WIDE leg, Run Big - very nice

I see some reviews saying they aren't that wide of a leg...they are definitely WIDE. Make no mistake there. They do run big as others have said, but in my opinion it is not a full size big. I ordered my usual size and I am not unhappy with the fit. I do think the inseam is slightly longer than a...

Drowning in pants

They seem like beautiful pants, thick fabric, a little bit of stretch, good quality material… But BR what is up with the sizing? I have the wide leg Ponte pants in medium, which fit perfectly, so mistakenly ordered a medium in these and I was swimming. There is a lot of extra room in the hips & rear...

Comments about High Rise Wide-Leg Drapey Ponte Pant

They are a lovely weight but run large. I'm normally a medium - 6/8 and they were floating on me. I had to size down to a small. Also the 30" inseam is fine if you're a 31" inseam as I am - just the way they hang it gives extra length

Loved the pants and seem very cute but unfortunately they were a size too big. A curvier girl who usually wears a L or XL, I was glad to see Banana Republic had these pants that seem to be great for all sizes.

I see some reviews saying they aren't that wide of a leg...they are definitely WIDE. Make no mistake there. They do run big as others have said, but in my opinion it is not a full size big. I ordered my usual size and I am not unhappy with the fit. I do think the inseam is slightly longer than advertised...but BR/GAP often have inconsistent inseams in my experience - if I had bought in store, I would probably have tried on a different pair in same size, just to see if inseam was slightly shorter. The fabric is beautiful. It is a very nice heavy weight. They won't be for everyone because they are high waist and can give you a pooch. They do for me, but not to a point that I didn't want to keep them.

I was so excited when I opened these, they are absolutely gorgeous. The material is substantive, great drape, everything. But they are huge. I bought a medium, and they could literally stand on their own, barely touching my body. . Now the small is sold out in tall. Sad

These are classy, chic wide leg pants. The fabric is great quality and very smooth to the touch. Not too wide for my small frame, just right. I liked these so much, I purchased two colors, cream and olive. Both colors are beautiful and rich.

They seem like beautiful pants, thick fabric, a little bit of stretch, good quality material… But BR what is up with the sizing? I have the wide leg Ponte pants in medium, which fit perfectly, so mistakenly ordered a medium in these and I was swimming. There is a lot of extra room in the hips & rear specifically. Of note, I am 5'9, 142 lbs, athletic build (not skinny by any means) and the best word to describe these is voluminous. The waist fit okay, just a little loose, so I worry about ordering a size down would be too tight on the waist and still swimming in the hips. I just can't seem to reconcile how they fit with the glowing reviews?!?

Very comfortable. I like the way they fall as well. Probably could have gone down a size though. They run pretty large.
