They are a lovely weight but run large. I'm normally a medium - 6/8 and they were floating on me. I had to size down to a small. Also the 30" inseam is fine if you're a 31" inseam as I am - just the way they hang it gives extra length

Loved the pants and seem very cute but unfortunately they were a size too big. A curvier girl who usually wears a L or XL, I was glad to see Banana Republic had these pants that seem to be great for all sizes.

I do think the inseam is slightly longer than advertised...but BR/GAP often have inconsistent inseams in my experience - if I had bought in store, I would probably have tried on a different pair in same size, just to see if inseam was slightly shorter. The fabric is beautiful. It is a very nice heavy weight. They won't be for everyone because they are high waist and can give you a pooch. They do for me, but not to a point that I didn't want to keep them.
