Very disappointed in the quality of this skirt. I thought washing might help get out the wrinkles and reduce the scratchiness of the fabric but no luck

I originally purchased this in white, but found the white too sheer for me. (It would require a slip, which I'm not willing to do in the heat of the summer.) But the cut of the skirt is so good that I didn't want to give up on it entirely. Ordered in black instead even though I already own several BR black linen bottoms. It is flattering around the mid-section and with the slit up the legs. The black is much less sheer while remaining summery. I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds and went with the small.

I have been looking for a flattering white maxi skirt that doesn't have a smocked waist for at least a couple of years now and was thrilled to find this one. When I brought it home to try on for the second time in a brighter room than BR's dressing room, I was sad to realize how sheer the white linen is. Full view of undies, even nude ones. Sadly, it had to go back.

I love this skirt! Please make it in more colors! I'd love to see it in tan, pink, and blue. The side slits are flirty and functional. The material feels super high quality -- this will be a piece I wear for years to come. I am 5' 2", 116lbs and am very happy with size XS (my usual size). It is not too long.

Lovely material and nice heft to it. Runs a little large, so I sized down. A little see through, but it is a summer cream colored linen. Not so much so that you have to wear a slip under though. You could get away without one if wearing flesh colored underwear. Personally, I like to wear thigh length underwear under skirts in summer for comfort.

The skirt is gorgeous. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs. the small fit perfectly with no alterations needed. The linen has a nice thickness but still very pliable and soft. I wear thin bike shorts underneath for an added layer, which do not show at all with the high side slits. Really pleased and the matching sleeveless top is gorgeous.

I almost feel like we were talking about 2 different skirts. The skirt I received was a thicker no see thru fabric that was so heavy it did not flow properly when walking. The slits were perfect but in the photo it looked like a lighter gauze versus a very heavy tablecloth linen. I loved the cut of the dress but not the fabric. Sadly I will return although I think BR is trying to find the right fabric as we speak. Somewhere between a heavy gauze and the tablecloth linen would be perfect and loved by many

I absolutely fell in love with this skirt but as soon as I tried it on I knew I couldn't keep it. It is beyond see-through to the point where I have to return it…I wish so badly I could keep it but there is no way I can keep a skirt that (even when wearing nude underwear) is completely sheer.
