I tried this skirt on in store and left with the black one. It was on sale, it's cute, and I have a trip to Italy coming up. The vibe was right. Initially I wanted the white one, but it is so see-through, everyone hanging out by the fitting rooms saw my.... boo-tay. The black allows for some light to shine through, but it's manageable. Material is THIN. The sizing is skeptical. I usually don't listen to reviewers who advise sizing down, as it doesn't usually fair in my favor. At 5'0, 158lbs, with a 12-month postpartum build - I'm a true medium, 8 to 10. I tried on and purchased the XS but have spent days thinking about the XXS. This thing is a tent, no joke. It's so big. MASSIVE! The waist is not snug to my body even when the drawstring is pulled as tight as it can be. For length, the petite would have been a better move but I don't want to wait for shipping! I docked a star due to the sizing in the waist.

It's too big, the fabric hangs down and it's cheap

This skirt is breathtaking in person. The movement is lovely, the material feels amazing, and it has pockets! I've been looking for a skirt that can be dressed up or down for summer, and this one ticks all the boxes.

I'm not one to buy full price items but when I tried this on it was love at first try even though it was a little big for me. For reference, I'm 5'2 and a size 12-14. I tried the large in black first and that was big on me. I went down to a medium and even that was just a tad too big and roomy. I hunted down a small and eventually was able to track it down to another store about 13 miles away. And yes, it was worth the drive to have something this beautiful, and seamless in my closet.

Very disappointed in the quality of this skirt. I thought washing might help get out the wrinkles and reduce the scratchiness of the fabric but no luck

I originally purchased this in white, but found the white too sheer for me. (It would require a slip, which I'm not willing to do in the heat of the summer.) But the cut of the skirt is so good that I didn't want to give up on it entirely. Ordered in black instead even though I already own several BR black linen bottoms. It is flattering around the mid-section and with the slit up the legs. The black is much less sheer while remaining summery. I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds and went with the small.

I have been looking for a flattering white maxi skirt that doesn't have a smocked waist for at least a couple of years now and was thrilled to find this one. When I brought it home to try on for the second time in a brighter room than BR's dressing room, I was sad to realize how sheer the white linen is. Full view of undies, even nude ones. Sadly, it had to go back.
