The dress has so many unexpected features such as the long slit in the front, the back pocket and 2 front pockets that all add to the interest. For reference I am typically an XXL and carry my weight in my mid-section. The fit was totally flattering. It looked pulled together and chic. This dress' structure allows some "roominess" without sacrificing style. Versatile enough for work or running errands.

This dress is really well made. The denim is sturdy, and the stitching isn't coming out or loose in places. It's also such a great classic dress. It can be worn in all seasons, by layering in the colder months and just wear it as is in the warmer months. If you're building a capsule wardrobe, this would be an excellent addition.

gap.comIf you want to wear a potato sack, this is it. The zipper is too short, the slit is terribly placed, and this dress will give you no shape because you'll have to size up just to fit through said short zipper. It's also really heavy but that's the least of its problems.

Cute idea, not well executed for an hourglass shape. I am 5'9" tts m. This dress was too loose on the waste and too tight on the hips. I agree with other reviewers it was difficult to get on over the head, but not a deal breaker. It reminded me of the 2000s and I why stopped wearing denim skirts lol.
