I ordered a size 4 as a 5'4" pear shaped woman. The A-line fit looks elegant over my shape. It's has an appropriate length for activities. Dress is not lined, but I wear a pair of shorts for modesty and mobility. The sleeves little longer than expected and wrinkle in the crease of your arm. gap.comI have to echo the other comments about the missing zipper. The dress is lovely, but it is very difficult to take off without one. I don't want to have to pay a tailor to add a zipper, even if the dress is on sale. Note to Banana Republic: please add zippers to your dresses! It would make them much more practical and comfortable to wear.

Super cute sleek cut but neck V is very deep. Too revealing for me.
Very nice & well made, although linen is a bit on the stiff side. Both perplexing and unfortunate that the top is lined, but not the bottom?! On the fence about keeping or returning. Annoying that it is see-through.

gap.comThe shade of red is lovely. Great fit. True to size small. 5'4 130 lbs .. Sleeves a little too long for my liking and will have altered. Skirt slightly sheer. Ordered online. Arrived quick but security tag on skirt. Need to deal with that now and not the most convenient. Same thing just happened on the weekend to a friends daughter. She noticed as she was getting dressed to attend a wedding ! Whoever is packing the order need to be a little more mindful of that through customer service.

Beautiful color, but the dress is too sheer & would require a slip.
Love the fit, material and color. I bought the brown. I am 5' 2 1/2" tall, 120 pounds and though the XS fit, due to the absence of a zipper it was quite difficult to get on and off. I sized up to the size S, and the dress still had a nice fit and was easier to put on and take off. I love the feel of the dress, felt it is perfect for a summer night out. Bottom part of the dress is not lined yet not sheer enough to be a concern.
