These pants are lightweight and soft — not that crispy cotton type. The fabric is thin but not see‑through, which I really appreciate. I'm usually a size 6 or S, so I went with SP (I'm 5'2", hips 40 inches) and the fit is great. The length is perfect on me. They did arrive super wrinkled, so I had t...o give them a good iron. I love that they have pockets. I wouldn't call the quality 'high‑end,' but they're perfect for mild days when you want something easy and comfortable. I'm planning to grab the rose color too once it goes a bit more on sale.
I ordered these in a Tall, and they are most certainly not tall. Im 5'11" and these were several inches above my ankle. The fabric is also disappointing - feels cheap, very wrinkled. They looked like pj's that I had borrowed from the back of someone closet. Not worth the price. Returningm

gap.comGreat design but depressing terrible construction. Seams were pressed and sewn crooked and wiggly. Fabric is also on the thin side but I don't mind that in a summer pant. Would love to see this style come back in a slightly nicer fabric and with construction up to the standard I'm used to from banana republic. Also there is something weird going on with the size large tall as mine were also 4-5inches shorter than the XL just like another commenter mentioned.

These pants are fantastic! A very lightweight cotton and the fit is just as described. They are nice for summer travel because they fold flat but and featherlight, but not cheap or see-through. My only caveat: the length is very inconsistent. I am 5'9" and tend to fall between regular length and tall. After reading the reviews, I ordered a medium/tall and a large/tall. The large/tall pants were 4" shorter than the medium/tall....very strange. FYI Im a size 10 on the bottom and ended up keeping the medium.
