I bought this after reading the review saying the fabric moves fluidly and beautifully, and I would have to agree! I bought this to wear to a wedding as a guest. The wedding is in a month and I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant today. I was afraid to get a dress that wouldn't fit as my belly grows, but ...the A-line trapeze silhouette of this dress is perfect for a growing body! And I love the pockets!! Perfect for snacks. I'm 5'3" and just bought regular size Large since petite was sold out, but the length is perfect on me, looks like the model's length. I got terracotta, and the colour is slightly more saturated in colour in real life, but I think still suits my olive complexion well. The back has an invisible zipper with a hook on the top. My regular size prepregnancy is Large anyway, and I figured because of the generous silhouette it would be ok with the belly. I was hesitant how this was going to fit but it suits my pregnancy belly and generally apple shaped type body well. It feels comfortable to wear and I think there's going to be lots of potential outfits that this dress will be used in. Yay!
I purchased this dress last year and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, this year's version feels noticeably different. The length is much shorter, and I was disappointed there was no tall option offered. The fabric quality also does not feel comparable to last season's version. I'm going to keep ...it, but I know I won't wear it nearly as often as the one from last year. What made me such a loyal BR customer over the last few seasons was the elevated quality, tailoring, and thoughtful design to the point where I found myself purchasing BR more often than some luxury brands. Lately, however, the quality and overall design direction seem to have declined, which has unfortunately pushed me back toward purchasing luxury brands again. I truly hope BR returns to the level of quality and sophistication that made the brand stand out so strongly before.

gap.comThis dress is beautiful, the fabric shimmers yet breathes and the colours are lovely - but it's a midi not a maxi, it's as though it was cut too short and that's reflected by the pocket height as well - when your hand is in the pocket, it doesn't sit as low as one would expect from such a flowy, supposedly long dress. Also, the sleeves/shoulders are quite slim as indicated in other reviews. For these reasons, it may be perfect for women who are on the shorter side (5'3" or less) or who are looking for a midi (that is a bit shorter in the front and longer in the back). It's too bad it's not available in a tall necause that may have solved the length issue. You can always bring a dress up but you can't make it longer!

I thought it would be softer fabric. I have the one from last year and I loved it. Also please make the length in 51 inch. I returned the dress unfortunately. Hopefully they will bring a better version next time.

The fabric is beautiful and the cut is exactly what I wanted…except the dress fell to an inch past my knees. Not a maxi dress at all. Not even really a midi dress. I'm 5'9", which isn't crazy tall.
