Thank you BR for offering a true Ivory color in this T-shirt for those of us who can't wear stark white. I love the slub fabric - so comfortable. While this can be dressed up, it's a more casual look. Somewhat loose fitting. I would love to see an ivory color in a more dressy fabric too.
Not worth it. The shape is not anything interesting, and the fabric is pretty thin. You might as well buy the $7 Old Navy shirts. (Which actually, I think have a better shape.) But most egregious, the "black and white stripe" is not AT ALL white. It is more of a beigey-pink color with a greenish und...ertone, and it looks ghastly against my skin. (There is a striped BR dress that is also called "black and white" and reviews complain of the same thing: it's not at all white, yet is made to look pretty close to white in the photos.)

gap.comSooooo here's the thing: the gorgeous brown colour trapped me. It doesn't appear particularly luxe in terms of the details i.e., the hem seems cheap (I bought 2 tees but returned 1 due to an uneven/sloped hem). I tend to expect something more substantial or extra quality details when buying BR tees vs the sister brands. This tee's cotton is soft and light and comfy, but if you are looking for an 'elevated' tee this is unlikely going to satisfy— it is basic.
