Love these. I ordered the denim color. I have been looking for a longer short this season but have had a hard time finding something that is a flattering shape and length. I am 5'6", pear shaped and have a long torso. I went down from my usual size so these fit high at my natural waist.

I was so excited for these gorgeous shorts. They arrived quickly, too! Six buttons??! Where in the description does it indicate a button fly? Too much trouble for me.

I would have sized down, but the sizing in the hips fit perfectly. The waistband has more of a gap in the waistband at the back than I would like when I first put them on. I could deal with that by wearing a belt. They stretched out a lot more than I anticipated, and what didn't need a belt on day one turned into a must-need a belt wear the next day. I anticipate that I'll take them to a tailor to refine the fit after they are broken in . I would have sized down, but the sizing in the hips fit well. I liked the colour and style of these shorts but I was really hoping the material wouldn't be so thick and heavy. I washed them as suggested by a reviewer but it didn't make much of a difference. Im going to contact customer service to hopefully return them.

I was worried I couldn't pull these off because I'm petite & hourglass shaped, but they look great! I like to dress them up with a blazer.

I don't wear leather and I specifically ordered these shorts because the photo didn't show a leather patch on the back, nor did the materials state that there was a leather patch. However, once I received the item, there definitely was a leather patch on the back (which was blank and said nothing btw) and the label stated that the trim was 100% leather. I understand that not everyone cares about this, but there are people who do, so why not post that info on the site and save the people who don't wear animal products the time and energy of ordering and then having to return? If BR can mention it on the garment label, then they definitely had the means to mention it on the site. Also, the fit was awful. I am normally a 10-12 in bottoms at BR and ordered a size 8 based on reviews stating that this item ran large. For reference, I am 5'7" / 150 lbs with a thick waist and small hips. The 8 fit in the waist but the legs flared out in such a weird way. It looked like bell-bottom shorts on me, so I do not recommend this product.
