Wonderful feel and weight to the fabric but the cut at the shoulders is too wide and stiff for me. I sized down hoping to avoid the extra bulk at the top and honestly I could have sized down another one or two. The other linen shirt they make is plenty oversized enough — I think it's called the Everyday Linen Shirt or something similar. I would have ordered that instead but inexplicably they don't offer it in black. Oh well. Back to BR this one goes.

I so badly wanted to love the navy stripe color, but it's quite faded to the point where it won't work with any of my other navy apparel. It would be stunning with khaki or camel colored pants, but sadly I work in a restaurant and light colored pants immediately get ketchup on them.
I usually don't complain or make returns but I ordered this in navy with white stripe and a gray with pink stripe shirt arrived. Gray wasn't even a color option. I returned and am afraid to reorder. Nice shirt though!
This shirt ripped from sleeve inseam on the first wash. I followed the instructions on the tag and the shirt ripped. For being an expensive shirt this is unacceptable. I own many linen clothing from other brands including QUINCE which is much more affordable, better quality and there customer service support surpasses banana republic. Such a disappointment, banana republic use to be such a high quality brand in the past. Now they just don't care.

This is the perfect summer linen shirt that's loose and great as a topper. The length is perfect and covers things that you want while still being loose and flowy. I would love to see more colors next year. Think light sage green, cream or a light tan, seaglass blue, and even a charcoal gray or a black.

Perfect long linen. I got this in striped and white and sized down from my regular m to a small- which I do often for BR tops. Linen has a nice texture and weight for the shirts. I enjoy the length going below my hips and bum. Gives an effortlessly casual, but polished look. A deal on sale!

The colour is a bit pale and the fabric is a bit thick. A great choice for spring
I got a size M anticipating a relaxed fit. Even so, it was too large and looked sloppy and the fabric felt stiff which may have been remedied with a couple of washes; however, the left shoulder seam had a construction flaw (the seam was slightly twisted). Returned.

I also ordered the 'everyday' style linen shirt, both in XXS so I was able to compare… if you have a slight build, this will be TOO oversized on you. Baggy, even. The collar's 1–2" too loose, the length goes down to my thighs, the body is shapeless. The everyday style is actually the perfect amount of 'oversized' for my build.
