Hello, I originally bought XS (regular) in the natural color. Great fit. Then I bought same size XS (regular) in the brownstone mauve. I tried them on and they were shorter - 1-2 inches in length/inseam so I returned them and bought another pair online. They just arrived and the same deal. Why would... the lengths be different if they are the exact same size, just a different color? I had considered ordering tall, but the inseam is 30". I am 5.5" tall and tall would be too long on me. I'm disappointed as I want the brownstone mauve color, but they are too short.
I would love to meet the brilliant mind on the Banana design team who thought it was a good idea to line these pink paisley linen pants with this heavy muslin. They have obviously never spent a June, July, or August anywhere in this country below the state of Connecticut. You most certainly could no...t wear these pants as is in New Orleans, Savannah or Charleston, you would be totally sweltering. Right out of the bag, the pants are heavy, way heavier than the other linen pairs. The lining also affects the fit and sizing of this color. I ordered the same size as the black and chambray pairs I ordered recently that fit well, and could not even get this pair up my legs to try on. I ordered the next size up and they're tight. I can't understand for the life of me why this pattern/color is lined though. The pattern is busy enough and the colors bold enough that they're not see through. If someone is really worried about it, tons of retailers make skin tone undergarments. Why on earth would you ruin this beautiful pattern with a ridiculous lining and not line the colors that ARE see through? You know, like white. I have a pair from last year that are a soft butter yellow and they're not lined and you can absolutely see through those bad boys. If I didn't love the print and colors so much, these would already be in the UPS Dropbox. If I keep them, I will be utilizing my scissors and cutting this ridiculous muslin out.

These are nice pants in just about every way, except that the pockets are way too shallow. If I sit down with my phone in my pocket, it falls out. If my key fob is in my pocket, it falls out. This is a huge design flaw. Very similar pants that I got from gap (which were less expensive) do not have this issue.

I usually wear a 6 (28" waist, 40" hips), and I tried a small on in store. I liked the color and fit but ended up not buying because it was a struggle to get them on. The elastic just doesn't have enough give, but the medium was too big. Plus, I don't love elastic waists anyway. What's next? Velcro shoes for adults?

The background color of the pink paisley print version is not as shown. The pictures appear to depict a light natural linen color. In reality it is much more yellow based. Have zero idea as to what you'd actually wear with this. As others have mentioned the sizing on the printed ones is off. I ordered my usual size MT. Hard pressed to get them over my bum as the drawstring along with the muslim lining limits the expandability of the elastic waistband. I don't think it is even an actual working drawstring but could be wrong on that. Length was great…skimmed the top of foot. Sadly disappointed in the direction of BR designs for the last 5 years.
