Hello, I originally bought XS (regular) in the natural color. Great fit. Then I bought same size XS (regular) in the brownstone mauve. I tried them on and they were shorter - 1-2 inches in length/inseam so I returned them and bought another pair online. They just arrived and the same deal. Why would... the lengths be different if they are the exact same size, just a different color? I had considered ordering tall, but the inseam is 30". I am 5.5" tall and tall would be too long on me. I'm disappointed as I want the brownstone mauve color, but they are too short.
I would love to meet the brilliant mind on the Banana design team who thought it was a good idea to line these pink paisley linen pants with this heavy muslin. They have obviously never spent a June, July, or August anywhere in this country below the state of Connecticut. You most certainly could no...t wear these pants as is in New Orleans, Savannah or Charleston, you would be totally sweltering. Right out of the bag, the pants are heavy, way heavier than the other linen pairs. The lining also affects the fit and sizing of this color. I ordered the same size as the black and chambray pairs I ordered recently that fit well, and could not even get this pair up my legs to try on. I ordered the next size up and they're tight. I can't understand for the life of me why this pattern/color is lined though. The pattern is busy enough and the colors bold enough that they're not see through. If someone is really worried about it, tons of retailers make skin tone undergarments. Why on earth would you ruin this beautiful pattern with a ridiculous lining and not line the colors that ARE see through? You know, like white. I have a pair from last year that are a soft butter yellow and they're not lined and you can absolutely see through those bad boys. If I didn't love the print and colors so much, these would already be in the UPS Dropbox. If I keep them, I will be utilizing my scissors and cutting this ridiculous muslin out.

These are surprisingly nice looking for an elastic-waist pant, but the elastic doesn't stretch enough, so they're hard to pull over the waist. I tried a S (28" waist, 40" hips) and I had to shimmy them on, but the M was too baggy, even before accounting for the inevitable linen expansion. At 5'9" I found the regular length to be flattering and not too cropped.

I never received this item. A few days ago I got a message with a delivery date of "tomorrow" but the package never arrived. When I search the tracking information it is now showing a delivery date over a week from now. I'm not sure why I got an email asking for a review since they haven't arrived. And I was hoping to take them on a vacation that I'm leaving on before the newly scheduled delivery date. So that's not great. I have this pant in another color and I like it, but I'm disappointed in service regarding this order.

These are great. Wide but properly cut so they don't look messy, light but not see through. The pattern is perfect for summer. I was worried they would be too pyjama coded but not at all!

gap.comActually, the "paisley" model IS lined lightly in cotton, which is a very nice touch. However, the crotch sits very low, and that makes the pant very baggy, with a PJ look and feel, even in my size. Must return.
