From the moment this dress appeared online I was both in love and confused. The black one looks so chic, the stripes... well, I think the other reviewer said it best: It looks like PJs - like something some televised version of Scrooge wears during his dream adventures. Now that I have the black o...ne, I can confirm it does look very chic in black. It IS ginormous, but that's part of what makes it look so chick when cinched at the waist. Part of my problem with the stripes is that I don't like how the waist tie interrupts the stripes that are already interrupted in the front... maybe if I got a different belt for it altogether.... I'm passing on it for now - if I did get it, I think I'd size down even more to an S and not belt it, but I'm not convinced that would be a winner look, either. In terms of sizing I'm either L or XL depending on style (small waist compared to my 38DD bust) - most of my BR dresses are L, but I Ianded on M for this style in black.
I purchased this online after seeing an instagram style reel, it doesn't translate the same in person. Fabric feels too heavy and sizes are about 2 sizes too large ( I usually order medium and went with a small but it was very oversized). Very disappointed in the quality overall and returned the d...ress.

I wanted to love this dress. It's everything I love - amazing details, fun print and artsy feel. But this dress is beyond big and is frumpy on me. I usually wear a size 10 (I'm 5'4", 145 lb and 34E), so I decided to order a small and hope for the best. It was so big I literally had a foot worth of extra material on both (!!) sides of my waist. To say it wasn't fitted is a gross understatement. When I tried adding the belt, I looked like a 6 year old who stole her mom's dress and tried to make it work. I didn't even think that taking it to the tailor and having darts put it would work for me. I'm a bit jealous of those people who look good in this dress, cause I'm not one of them.

Unfortunately the fit of this was not very flattering- I'm close to 5'5 and unfortunately it just didn't work. Fabric is great just didn't work with my height

I assumed this dress would bee too much for me - 5'4", but I tried it on in store in xs instead of usual s, and I loved it. The buttons and side gussets give it interesting tailoring. The olive stripe isn't as bold and is a nice alternative to navy or black with white.
