I'm a little heartbroken because I LOVE the material, the stitching, the pockets… it fit me fabulously and flatteringly…except at the arm holes, which are cut in a way that emphasizes wide shoulders and highlights any flesh at the arm/torso junction. (My bust is small—it's specifically _width_ that'...s the issue. If you have average female shoulders it's probably fine.) I couldn't overlook or fix that flaw, however much I loved the rest of the dress :( If this design existed with either thinner straps or short sleeves I'd buy it in an instant.
This dress was a disappointment. I am a true size L according to BR's size chart and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately this dress is too long in the torso, the waist too tight, and the chest enormous - the bust is at least 3" bigger than I need it to be (and at 34DD my bust is not small). No poin...t sizing down since the waist was already too small. I wish BR's sizing was more accurate/consistent. As well, the colour is not "cream white" as described but a dull beige - not a colour I would have chosen. Maybe if you have a tiny waist and are a true hourglass this would work but I don't know how you'd guess which size to order. I loved the pictures online and the pocket design especially but what I received was not good for me.

I love the orange color, the overall shape of the dress and the weight of the fabric. The large and low armholes are an issue and if I want to keep the item it would require significant tailoring, which cost as much as the dress. They cause the dress yo bow out at the bust in a weird way. I have an hourglass figure so if my bust was smaller/flatter, I think it would be even worse. So sadly it's going back. The armholes and torso are not well proportioned and I am not sure why it was designed this way or if this is a dress size issue. I bought a large. perhaps on XS or S there is better proportioning. Reading the reviews, this seems to be a very common sentiment. This dress is a wonderful idea but has poor execution.

If you have a larger chest I would size up; otherwise this is a very nicely made dress. The fabric is sturdy, some might say a little heavy, but it's a well-tailored work dress.

The color is fabulous! I purchased xs petite. I'm just under 5'3" and 118 pounds. Fits great! Love the a-line, classic silhouette. A tiny bit shorter than I like, falls at shin, but with an ankle wrap sandal or wedge the length is perfect. I'd buy in another color, even consider getting regular length and having altered as needed. This is a terrific throw on and go, I'm a fan! I also have the shirt sleeve version, winner too!

I love the fabric of this dress, the weight and the color. However, I have to take it in to be altered as the arm holes are huge. They poke out several inches. I'm not quite sure why you would either have to have a ginormous bust or a different shaped body than mine. I normally wear a size 4 without any alteration issues. However, I will spend the extra to have it fixed as I really do like the dress

Im busty (40D) with an hourglass shape. I found the fit of the bust to be way too tight and confining, with zero give in the thick canvass fabric. Arm holes were a little too big but i could live with it. The skirt portion is great, with nice details around the hem in particular, and I loved the pockets. Had to return b/c I just couldn't breathe in it.

I bought the orange because how often do you see an orange dress? I like the weight of the fabric--it's a nice sturdy cotton blend. The front pockets are perfect, but the back pockets are way too high and totally unnecessary. Maybe it's just my tall frame and torso? The top of the back pockets come up to my lower back. It looks...dumb. I think you can see it on the model too. For that reason I am sending this back but otherwise like the fit of the dress. I agree that the armholes are a little large.

I usually wear a medium but even size small was large. It fits long in the torso and the cotton material is quite heavy.

Love the color and style. I ordered a small and it fits but armholes are a little big. I am 133 and 5'5". Haven't decided if I will keep it. I wish it had been on sale.
