Favorite dress this season

This dress was made for my body type. Longer torso, maxi length that's just a bit longer than a midi on my 5'9" 200lbs frame and the cut looks like it was tailored to my 34 DDD bust. I got a L my usual size. The best part is the huge pockets in front, least favorite is the awkward pockets on the ba...

Not good

This dress was a disappointment. I am a true size L according to BR's size chart and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately this dress is too long in the torso, the waist too tight, and the chest enormous - the bust is at least 3" bigger than I need it to be (and at 34DD my bust is not small). No poin...

Tight waist

I really love the way this dress looks on the model, but reality was very different. I typically wear XS and a S in more tapered looks. The waist was too tight; I think even tighter than the size chart, and loose everywhere else.

perfect fit! I'm 5'10", hourglass, 3DD, long torso, size 12-14.. this dress fits me like a glove. Total win. if you are apple shaped, it would be a no, but for us hourglass ladies, or those with a little extra at the hips, go for it. I am going to get this is other colors. I got the black. it's got a little bit of stretch (not much) and is a pleasing heavier cotton. I love this dress!

Comments about Cotton Canvas Utility Pocket Maxi Dress

This dress is beautiful! I have not laundered it yet so I'm not sure how the color will hold up but the green is pretty. The pockets are adorable! It is definitely made for smaller waist body types. It has a flare so it's flattering if you have a larger butt and hips. Only complaint is the arm holes are large. I am 140 lbs, 29 in pants, 32dd and I went with a small because of the top part being too large on the medium. If you have a smaller waist, it is worth a try!

Fun twist on utility wear style

I'm among those who ended up liking this dress (in green). I bought into the utility style, with the thicker/heavier canvas fabric. The front and back giant pockets are awesome and what attracted me to it. I like the details like the defined waist and the skirt's rim. Like others I found the arm holes a bit big, but can work with it. My usual BR size was a good fit.

I got a L my usual size. The best part is the huge pockets in front, least favorite is the awkward pockets on the back. That's a small distraction from how much I love this dress. The fabric is really heavy 100% cotton so it feels very comfortable. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love the fit of this dress - fitted through the top and a slight flare at the bottom, so cute! I did size down one as my normal size was less fitted on top than I liked.

Amazing quality. Fits true to size

Burlap Sack

The silhouette is great but the material is terrible - like wearing a burlap sack. It reminds me of the canvas you use for paintings. The dress is thick and not flattering. Make this shape in a softer flowy summery material.

Comments about Cotton Canvas Utility Pocket Maxi Dress

Looks better on than expected but i had to buy petite size to fit properly. I'm 5'5" 128lbs which is slighty above average north American women height of 5'4"ish. Most of the regular size clothes fit best on model's height of 5'9" and above, so why not sell the regular sizing geared to the average woman? (but no more crop tops)! Material is good, like the pockets.

This dress was a disappointment. I am a true size L according to BR's size chart and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately this dress is too long in the torso, the waist too tight, and the chest enormous - the bust is at least 3" bigger than I need it to be (and at 34DD my bust is not small). No point sizing down since the waist was already too small. I wish BR's sizing was more accurate/consistent. As well, the colour is not "cream white" as described but a dull beige - not a colour I would have chosen. Maybe if you have a tiny waist and are a true hourglass this would work but I don't know how you'd guess which size to order. I loved the pictures online and the pocket design especially but what I received was not good for me.
