Wore this to an event and received many compliments. Almost didn't buy because some of the reviewers were negative, like it's not navy, it is navy, but more on the subdued side. It is oversized, I just sized down to a Small from my normal Medium. I also don't like the belt that came with, I just wore one of my leather ones. Extremely well-made. Beautiful quality linen. The only sorry thing about it is that I didn't order this sooner!

I wanted a laid-back summer dress to wear with sneakers this summer. When the dress arrived, it wasn't as expected. The color was a faded blue/gray and not the deep navy as shown online. I ordered PXXS, and this dress was swallowing me. It was so huge!

I'm writing because of all the negative reviews. This is a great dress if you like linen and like a soft, washed look. It's true it's not a bright blue, but I do think the photo isn't too inaccurate. Wouldn't describe it as black. It's perfect for those of us with "soft summer" colouring. I'm 5' and usually wear a L or XL. In this dress, the L Petite is roomy and still quite long. I love it on me, but if in doubt, size down. I think it gives an "expensive" look, it's comfortable and versatile, and the quality is excellent. This will be my go-to spring and summer dress.

The color wasn't navy but a washed out black. I didn't even open the package I returned. I'll try to exchange for the other color. I can't review the quality and fit on this not so Navy dress.

Beautiful quality heavier linen, however lots of material on the bottom portion. Would have preferred a straight hem line.

I love the color and the material, and the overall look of it IF I'm wearing it with a big chunky belt - not the one provided. I'm only 5'5" and this flimsy belt is better suited to a taller person. But as long as I have a good cinched belt, and a pair of wedge or tall boots it works great! #sweepstakes

I tried this dress on 3 times at home, (I ordered it online) before deciding to keep it. The sleeves are bulky and very long. They look much better rolled up. There are pockets and a lot of fabric. The belt is an absolute necessity. Once you do the belt and sleeves, it looks cute. I was hoping for a lighter fabric, this is actually quite heavy. It will be warm. I bought it on sale and that is why I am keeping it.
