I'm a curvy girl and this dress makes me look slimmer . I love the sexy vibe . U can dress it down with a pair of sneakers or dress it up with a banana republic corset and a pair of high heels 👠. The material is heavy cotton but is not overwhelming as far as the complete look is concerned . I wish BR had this dress in many colors !

BR has a number of form fitting, flattering dresses this season like this one, but the tailoring is so precise you have to find the exact right size to get the intended silhouette. That's been a problem because I'm 5'4, the average American women's height, and BR underproduces petite sizes that we actually need. They sell out fast. Meanwhile, regular sizes languish on the rack until they're marked down. Hope merchandise planners are reading this.

I haven't managed that yet which has been frustrating. I'm 5'4", 129 lbs, 34/36A. I ordered S and it fits but the torso's a tad long for my frame which changes the silhouette. I need a petite but that's the first size to sell out and hard to access. I tried shopping at BR after a 10 year hiatus and the unforgiving, rigid sizing, and lack of access to petite sizing has made the experience demoralizing.

Loved this so much i bought a second colour. I was surprised though, the top is actually black and the skirt is off white; i decided to keep it because the fit is sooooo flattering and i actually like the contrasting colours.

I ordered the cream dress and received a navy and cream dress twice. Very disappointing and frustrating. When I called Banana Customer Service they were just as confused. Cancelled the whole order.

The skirt needs to be ironed and the navy is too dark close to black. I love the pockets.

Honestly, this has been one of the most disappointing online shopping experiences of my entire adult life. I placed an order for the Jersey & Poplin Twist-Front Maxi Dress in cream color dress three times! My first attempt, the dress was delivered to the wrong mailbox by the carrier. My second attempt, the wrong dress was delivered. 3rd and final attempt, 2 replacement dresses were mailed to me and the were both the wrong dress. Finally, I gave up. BR has yet to acknowledge there is something going on with their warehouse team, delivery process. This was their error, 3x times over. And even though I was assured the correct dress would be mailed to me, I kept getting the wrong dress. Im honestly turned off by this and don't know if I'll shop the online store moving forward anymore. Extremely frustrating and disappointing shopping experience.
