Love the dress and weight of the linen. It's not lined,though. My issue, like others, is the lack of a zipper! So odd that designers approved this! I am 5'5, 135lbs, A cup, straight build (no curves) XS looked best on me but it felt a tad uncomfortable/tight (linen with minimal stretch) and I then ...needed the sales assistant to help me out of the dress because I literally couldn't get it off! Ended up purchasing size S because at the end of the day I felt good in it and I loved the dress! I think this dress could be great for the right person but I could see it not working for some body types. Would recommend trying it on first. I would say it true to size and maybe runs slightly large since I'm normally between a size small and medium.
Buyer beware! I placed a large order from Banana Republic with items in multiple sizes and 7 items (nearly 900 dollars) of merchandise was missing from my order. The packaged that arrived was small so it was very clear the missing items never left the warehouse and were never included in the packa...ge. My missing items claim was denied within 60 second by an automated computer process and I am out 900 dollars. Now I have to file appeals and try to work with my bank and a third-party service to recoup my money. I will never shop here again.

OMG, I'm exhausted. Just tried on this dress again (XS/P) to gauge how the SP might fit (just ordered in green). Now I get the problem. If one has broad shoulders & bust above a C cup, you'll have problems getting it on & off. Fantastic dress.

It's a great color and wonderful thick linen of high quality. Unfortunately the fit was off, especially the v-neck. I was hoping it would be like some other linen v-neck tops and dresses from BR but this one was quite deep and open. Not great for larger bust sizes if you don't want evident cleavage.
