I originally bought this dress in a xl long and returned it because I thought the length was too long for my frame. I am 5'8 and it hits above the knee. There was another style last year that I returned. The fabric and texture is much nicer on this one. I would say it's an upgrade as it's the same strappy dress. It's a win for me.

I really like this dress apart from the fussy strings and strange puckered gap at the back. The fabric, pattern and design are all lovely for summer and it is not too short (I ordered the regular size small and I am 5'2.5, it stops just a couple of inches above the knee). I am quite pear shaped and it fits very well but if you were more rectangular or top heavy it probably would not be flattering. But the strings are unnecessary and make the dress hard to put on - why not just have regular adjustable straps? Similarly, the semi circular cut out just makes me vaguely worried people can see my underwear through it. However, on balance I am happy to have purchased it.

I tried this in two sizes, first XS as I have a 34A bust and can usually go with the smaller size with this silhouette. However it was weirdly tight at the bust, despite being somewhat adjustable. I then sized up to the small, and it fits better but sometimes the back will gape a little. I'm 5'5"and it lands a couple inches below my fingertips, so not too short. Overall I still think it's cute, although you'll have to like the trapeze shape.

Love this dress. It looks very chic. The only flaw is the seam that is slightly high on the chest of your are larger chested. I also would've preferred a tall length at 5'8 but it is sold out.

I had purchased this dress in a brown stripe last year but the one I just received was too long and looked frumpy....I purchased a size 8 tall and I am 5' 7' and 140lbs... after reading reviews for this dress purchased a size 8 tall and but it belled out ridiculously and is way to long....
