I bought this top in black. I am between a M and L, and bought a M wanting a tighter fit... but I didn't get what I hoped for. The M still felt loose. The top is very nice though so I will keep it. The quality (material and colour depth) is nice!
Thinner than a sheet of paper, no structure, poor quality, just extremely dissapointing. The top part that folds down at collar to give the slanted off-shoulder look kind of just flops around, and you have to tuck it in. Again it feels like 2 threads went into this. Also, I am 5'6 120 w a 28in waist... and the xs was big in the waist. The ruching does its job tho and bunches the fabric in a way that would disguise a tummy if one so wished. Although the stomach had extra fabric the arm and neck hole was tight and fit like an xs would. Will be returning. Id keep if it was 5$ as that is all its worth.

I got this in Black and White. The black one is beautiful and fits well. The white one feels cheap and doesn't look like the picture. Not the quality I have grown to expect from Banana republic. The material is so thin you can see your skin. I will have to wear something underneath. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. The three stars are because I'm very happy about the black one. The white one would be one star.

I usually buy from Banana Republic because the quality is usually good, but this one is so thin and see through that I might as well not wear anything. Very disappointing especially since I bought it for a trip I'm going on in a few days.
