Such a Great Find! Brown Striped Wrinkle Resistant Shirt

Firstly, it's got that killer Italian vibe with the brown bengal stripe at the perfect width. Not too narrow so it's a business shirt, but also not too wide so it's too casual. I'm so glad they did this in brown. Last time I wore it out, I got a ton of unexpected compliments... I probably should...

NOT "100% cotton"!

The fabric may be cotton but the thread that holds it together is definitely synthetic. It ruined 2 irons before I realized these shirts were the culprit. After washing these shirts they were ironed. I only iron before wearing, so 1 shirt a day or every other day. I iron with the shirt inside out. W...

I just bought 2 standard-fit wrinkle-resistant dress shirts… I wash them and came really wrinkle…. I bought some shirts more than 10 years ago…. And they still looking great… Also the pants I bought around 4 o 6 months ago.. they didn't fit properly… I used to buy pants and they fit perfectly and still looking good.. It's too a sad …. I just love the store… But the quality and sizes of the clothes they are not the same…. Too bad…

Worst shirt I've owned

This is the worst dress shirt I've ever purchased. I own dozens of BR shirts over the years and this latest batch immediately stood out for their poor quality. They are tissue paper thin and they call them wrinkle resistant, not because they don't wrinkle, but because the wrinkles strongly resist being removed. Seriously I took a steamer then an iron to these and they still look like I keep them rolled in a damp ball in the corner. Please bring back the old quality.. I'm still wearing some 10 year old BR shirts that are in better shape than these new ones after one wash

Good shirt, but the wrinkle resistance is not as good as it used to be, sorry. With the "wrinkle-free" years back, when you washed this, it would come out wrinkle free, and no iron required. Not with the new wrinkle resistant. It doesn't have the same quality it used to have 10 years ago.

The fabric may be cotton but the thread that holds it together is definitely synthetic. It ruined 2 irons before I realized these shirts were the culprit. After washing these shirts they were ironed. I only iron before wearing, so 1 shirt a day or every other day. I iron with the shirt inside out. When ironing my first shirt the iron dragged a little here and there but I didnt think much of it. Afterward I looked at my iron and found the tell tale melted plastic on the surface. I thought I hit a tag - which I am generally careful about, but mistakes happen. When ironing the second shirt the next day, with a new iron (!) I was very careful not to go over the tags. When ironing the sleeves around the hem I felt a little stickiness. But when I got to the shoulder section across the back and where the sleeve attaches the iron really caught. Running my finger over the stitching on the shirt it was hard and scratchy like melted nulylon or polyester, and the iron had melted plastic on the bottom. Thanks for nothing BR. You could have been honest about the materials and saved me almost $200 in irons.

Nice quality, but not the same medium size of other medium standard fit dress shirts. Smaller in the chest. #sweepstakes

Banana Republic's dress shirt quality has declined

Banana Republic's dress shirt quality has declined compared to the past. I loved the BR Non-Iron series and purchased over 20 shirts—both long- and short-sleeve—in several colors. Unfortunately, the new Wrinkle-Resistant Dress Shirts don't compare to that series at all. I really miss the BR Non-Iron dress shirts.
