I am in between a M & S and I'm glad I sized down to the small... very loose fitting, especially in the armpit area- almost too much material- will definitely not fit under a coat. The knitting is somewhat chunky, but very well-made and as stated in headline, heavy to wear. The lower band hits just ...below belly button level for me so that if I lift up my arms, tummy will show. All-in-all though, happy satisfied with the purchase, but not so much that I'll order another. Hoping this will really grow on me.
I had the same issue as another reviewer, it was basically cropped on me. When I raised my arms, midsection was showing. I have a long torso, so maybe it is just not cut for me. But I also returned the last sweater I bought from BR immediately, it's like the measurements are out of proportion. I lik...ed the chunky cotton knit, it is a good weight for transitioning to spring. After seeing it in person though, it seems overpriced for what it is.

I love this sweater! I have one in almost every color. The weight is lovely and since it is cotton it is not itchy to my sensitive skin. I can't wait until the weather gets colder so I can wear them again.

I love the fit of this sweater and that it's heavy and substantial without being hot. The drape and length are perfect, and the hem structure allows it to be adjustable somewhat. My only gripe is that the tag is so incredibly itchy - I was pulling at it all day and finally cut it out, which was difficult without damaging the fabric because it was sewn so tightly. I don't have this problem with most tags, just BR ones.

Nice heavy cotton, warm enough for cool spring/fall temps. I sized down from S to XS and it fits the way I like it (not too oversized). For reference I am 5'6" and the XS was not too cropped, it fits like in the like in the photo and feels nice on.

La couleur est très belle. J'ai retourné le chandail malheureusement. Je l'ai trouvé beaucoup trop lourd pour le printemps ou l'été. De plus, le modèle large était très étroit aux manches. Je ne me sentais pas confortable à le porter.

It's a very heavy and chunky knit sweater, it will be perfect in early spring and fall-winter. The sleeves are wide and the sweater is boxy, so I'll need to wear this with a slimmer bottom or else I'll look like a potato sack. It's very comfortable and feels like a hug. Love the color, very deep navy.
