I'm disappointed on how I got the shoes. I'm sure it's still in a "new" category although I'm sure customers had tried them off at the store or maybe at their house if delivered. Shoes had some scratches on the leather, dusty, box are ripped. The sole looks like it's been worn outside. Banana republic, who ever shipped it, should at least wipe the dust off and wipe the leather and maybe then someone could have notice the stratches

I normally need to size down in loafers, so I stuck with my usual size 8 on these after seeing reviews saying they run small. They were a bit tight to get on and stiff in the heel at first but started conforming to the shape of my foot almost immediately and now fit like a glove. In love with the quality and understated chic of these loafers!

This penny loafer is constructed really well and fits perfectly out of the box... Well, out of the bag because they were shipped to me without a box. But I digress... I'm a true 9.5 with narrow feet and the 10.5 fits perfectly. Size up! If you have a more medium to wide width, it may fit a little snug.

I had bought this loafers three times. I cannot find the right size, but love it so badly that I keep hope that I will figure it out. There is no stock in the stores near by, so I buy one, try it and go up half-size. I started in 7 1/5 usually I am 7 in BR shoes so I went half up because of the reviews. Now I am expecting size 9 because 8 1/5 wasn't available. I wish works this time.

I love them madly, but they are too small, too tight, and a little stiff. I'm a 7 1/2, and they barely even fit me.

Absolutely beautiful shoes! Exquisite craftsmanship and leather. Unfortunately, I had to return as they were too small and narrow.

I was looking for higher quality replacements for my J.Crew black loafers. Last years BR loafers bowed too much on the sides for me (I have narrow, flat feet), but these fit much better. I usually have to go down a size in loafers (to an 8), but my regular size 8.5 fit perfiect-now bowing on the sides.

Beautiful and stylish leather loafers - great design - simple and very comfortable. Some reviews listed as unforgiving leather and painful but i found them to be very comfortable . The leather is Italian and high quality and becomes very pliable after a few wears. Highly recommend. Wish they were included in the promo :(

A beautiful elegant shoe, stylistically, and these would have worked on me, a size 8, or sometimes 7.5, but with a narrow foot. I sized up after reading reviews, but the shoe was too big (long) and my size had sold out. What a shame, they are gorgeous. I'll have to return them.

Aesthetically pleasing shoe, but terribly uncomfortable. I would look to other brands, especially for the price that these cost. I usually like BR so I'll come back, but these weren't it
