I dared... bought it in the light pistachio color... I am a very black, navy, grey girl with a statement accessory. This is my statement sweater! It is soooo warm in this New York winter. I LOVE the oversize neck, yes it can be a bit different for some but it was one of the details I loved. I am... 5'4 142lbs and took a Medium but I love my sweaters big and cozy in the winter. I usually wear a Large but with the cut you should probably go 1 or 2 size down depending on your desired fit. Eventho it is large I did not have any issues having a coat over it. Not much "balls" nor any other issues . My favorite part: sooo SOFT!!! I am highly sensitive and cannot wear any sweater on my skin, neck, etc.. This one has the best feel, it is like a big soft cocoon. I love it so much that I am ordering the black one as well.
I never write reviews but the quality and wear of this compelled me to. I love almost everything about this sweater, the size, shape and weight, enough so that I got it in 2 sizes, both on sale. Except the fabric is one of the worst I've seen. I had a feeling when I first felt and saw it that it mig...ht pill, because there were already a few pills coming out of the box. I tried it on once, with different pants and coats to see if it would fit me well. I checked to see if there were any issues and you can see in the photos how insane the pilling is in the photos. There was hardly any friction from trying on coats and yet this is the result. The argument that it's because it's synthetic fabric is incorrect, as I have other poly/poly blend sweaters from BR, Gap, Old Navy that have lasted YEARS (this is wool/nylon blend). I wanted to keep them even after the pilling I love the style so much, but I ended up returning both. Unless you're ok with having a completely pilled sweater, I recommend returning it!

Returned because very long. The neck reached up to my ears. Quite heavy.

Really happy with the quality of this sweater. It's thick, cozy, and well made (no pilling or loose threads). The colour is a beautiful burgundy shade that's easy to style with light or dark pants.

Love it: stylish looking and good quality. Merino wool should be like this; I don't think it is the fabric issue.

This sweater was beautiful for the first two weeks I wore it. It has pilled like CRAZY, no matter how much I use a comb to fix it, it'll pill again and worse. It's so ugly and worn looking now I can't even wear it. I've only had it for 3 months. Disappointing! Last time I'll purchase a knit from BR
