I bought the blue and burnt sienna colors. Very pretty colors. I sized up to a small and I typically wear an XSP. I'm 5'2", 108lbs. So I would say this sweater does run small for a regular size. These colors are not see through. I can see where the white might be. Someone mentioned a sweater bein...g see through but they did not clarify the color they selected in their comments. This sweater is not itchy for me so I don't feel the need to wear a camisole underneath, but I would wear a camisole only for added warmth for colder days if needed. Since the sweater is made of Alpaca, I would recommend handwashing in woolite or a cashmere shampoo, lay flat to dry, and then reshape more than once while it's drying so that it doesn't shrink.
I loved this sweater when I first saw it and quickly ordered it. The light blue is a beautiful color. The cropped length is perfect, and the collar and buttons are a classy, casual style. When I first put it on, excited to see how it fit, it felt like pins and needles were pricking my skin. It is so... ridiculously itchy. I tried to convince myself it would be okay with a long-sleeved cami, but I came to my senses. It's going back. Come on, Banana Republic, where is the quality control?I So very disappointed. I gave two stars for the color and style of sweater.
