This looked great on the model, but on a normal human being it's very unflattering. I am normally a large in banana dresses and it was so ridiculously big and there's so much fabric so it makes it very heavy. It's made out of a traditional denim non-stretch material so it weighs a ton. I tried on th...e medium and it was a bit better. I also could've gone to a small, but I just decided to pass. The only way to wear this would be with high heels otherwise it will just look like a big frumpy house dress but in denim, so weird - it was a great idea, It had potential but it needed some tailoring around the waist.

I love this dress! It can be worn casually or dressed up with a lovely scarf or fancy brooch. It is perfect for layering during colder months, but I can also see it being worn other seasons as well. I received so many compliments! It is true to size. The length is perfect for any boot, heel or flat, and the best part- it has pockets! It's a great choice for a capsule wardrobe. This dress is wonderful. I like it a lot. Unfortunately, Banana does not offer petite. I am 5.1 and bought XS regular. The dress is a little bit too big, I am still thinking if I should return it.
