I love these. They're definitely a more trendy style. I'm 5'2 and very "average" sized - weight 135, being a tad more bottom heavy. I thought I'd need a 27 and decided to size down based on other reviews. Turns out, I probably could've sized down to a 25, based on the loose waist, but glad I didn't ...because of the short crotch. Reason for the 4-star review: The waist fits loosely, but the rise feels short. These are definitely more high- rise jeans than low. If I would've sized down, I feel like they might be uncomfortably short in the crotch. They're super cute and fun to wear, but I need to wear these with a slight heel. Taller gals (or longer legs) could probably wear a cute sneaker but I would look like an Oompa Loompa if I did that. Overall, I think I ordered the perfect size for me, and would recommend sizing down 1 size from what you would normally order.
Soooo disappointed. These look absolutely adorable here, but they look nothing like this in person. They are much shorter (I am not a tall person) and hit mid-calf, rather than ankle. They were high waisted, not low-rise and they run huge! I usually wear 28 and sized down to 26. So much potential bu...t missed the mark.

I love these pants! I bought them in black, and immediately purchased in blue denim after confirming fit. However, as others have pointed out, 1.) these pants run big (size down), and 2.) they do not ait at your hip unless you want a drop-crotch zipper. Instead, these fit more at my waist/high rise. I'm 5'5" so these are still slightly cropped.
