This is one of the very few banana republic items. I would recommend sizing down one. Otherwise, feel like these are great shorts. Hard to find material like these now
These are a good material, nice color (Dark Denim Blue) and well-made, but they are far too roomy. Perhaps that's what is meant by "lived-in", but I was caught off guard by how loose/baggy they are. The waist was also not tight enough, I wear a waist 32 with all of BR items but these seemed several ...

I like these shorts, but the fit was large for the size, and the color was not true to the photo. I ordered the gold/yellow shorts and what I got was closer to a dull gold brow than the bright color shown on the model.
