Believe it or not, thought it is wool, it feels good and soft. Though I am very sensitive and still will wear it over a T-shirt as shown with brown cardigan. Also, the V cut is quite deep and not everyone will feel comfortable to wear it without something underneath. The length is good for wide l...eg pants. The sleeves are rather long which seems common sin for multiple manufacturers. I sometimes surprised where did they find women with so long hands! Anyway, sleeves on sweaters are easily rolled up. I purchased my regular size M and it fits well.
Buyer beware! I placed a large order from Banana Republic with items in multiple sizes and 7 items (nearly 900 dollars) of merchandise was missing from my order. The packaged that arrived was small so it was very clear the missing items never left the warehouse and were never included in the packa...ge. My missing items claim was denied within 60 second by an automated computer process and I am out 900 dollars. Now I have to file appeals and try to work with my bank and a third-party service to recoup my money. I will never shop here again.

Love the flattering v neck on the sweater. Purchased my regular size. Fits well, with a little room for an undershirt but slim enough to wear on its own. It's kind of cropped, will wear with high rise jeans.

I really like this sweater and have bought it in 3 colours! I find the cut very flattering- it's looser around the chest, then more fitted at the bottom which helps accentuate my waist. I'm usually between an XS and S (5'5", 125lb), and have both sizes. I'd say XS is a better fit on me although S works too and just gives a more relaxed silhouette. I'd love to see more colours, or at least a restock.

I followed directions exactly, washed on gentle cycle in laundry bag and flat to dry. I have multiple nice sweaters and am confident in caring for my clothes when washing. After the first wash the front placket sort of curled up and wouldn't lay flat. The stitching also came out and the placket started unraveling right off the sweater. I never even got to wear it. I did love it for a day. Looks cute, but poorly made. Did not match the quality I have come to expect from BR.

So pleased with this sweater. Great quality and made with merino- warm of regular wool and none of the scratchiness, and washes better. Also the cut is perfect and hits on the top of my hip.. The purple color is a muted light purple version of mauve. It's very neutral.
