I've been looking for a while for a wide leg light wash jean that doesn't make me feel like I'm trying to look 20 years younger than I am. These have a clean, tailored fit that feels more mature and elevated. The back pocket size and placement looks good on the bum (what kept me from getting the ver...y similar Reformation Cary jeans was the small back pockets). Fabric is a nice weight, heavier than the Everlane Sailor 2.0 jeans I've tried. Only issue is gapping at the waist. I bought a size 28 and I have a 28-30" waist. I can easily pinch two inches of fabric. Also wish the regular length could have had a 32" inseam. I am 5'7" and they are about .5" off the ground, but for me, the tall/long would need to be worn with heels (the light wash jeans would not look good hemmed). These relax a bit with wear, stretch to about 1/2 size bigger.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

I always wear a 29 in Banana but these are definitely a tight fit if you have some booty ;) I would size up. I'll make them work because they're so cute and I refuse to size up and wait for an exchange haha, good quality as always!

As a petite girl, it is hard for me to find jeans that properly hit each curve of my body. These jeans fit perfectly to my 23" waist and are just right in length. The wide-leg style has structure to it so they still appear high-end and professional. The denim itself is a very thick and durable texture.

I LOVED these the first couple times I wore them, but now after washing maybe 5x, they are unwearable. I follow the care instructions to wash inside out and I dry on low heat. The black now looks gray, they are so short I cannot wear them anymore, and the ends are legit curly. Who wants to iron a pair of jeans?! Completely annoyed I spent the $ on these and expected better for BR. Note, I cannot speak to the quality of the blue jeans, just the black.

The denim wasn't as dark as I expected it to be, I was hoping for a wash that could be dressed up. It is more of a dark medium wash. They are nice jeans though. Good weight. I am 5'7", 119 lbs, athletic build and ordered a 27 tall based on reviews. I can't decide if I should have gone with the regulars because I will have to hem these quite a bit. They are too long even for heels but I have room for shrinkage. I don't usually put my jeans in the dryer because 5'7" lands you right in between regulars and tall. These will go in the dryer and then off to be hemmed. Overall I like them, they just weren't exactly what I'd anticipated. That could be on me, I'm not a great online shopper.

I'm curvy and typically a 32 in other brands. The 32 in this didn't zip up and the fit at my thighs was extremely tight. I don't know that this would work for someone with bigger hip/thigh areas unless you went up a few sizes. I didn't want to test this and not sure they offer bigger sizes.

A beautiful pair of jeans. Just the right amount of width at the leg. Not too wide or narrow. The indigo wash is so nice. It gives these jeans a little classy look. I've bought them in black as well. The only problem is I'm usually a size 27 petite and the waist was a bit too snug. I had to size up to 28 petite. Conversely, the black pair which I bought in store was a 27 petite and fit just right.
