I've been looking for a while for a wide leg light wash jean that doesn't make me feel like I'm trying to look 20 years younger than I am. These have a clean, tailored fit that feels more mature and elevated. The back pocket size and placement looks good on the bum (what kept me from getting the ver...y similar Reformation Cary jeans was the small back pockets). Fabric is a nice weight, heavier than the Everlane Sailor 2.0 jeans I've tried. Only issue is gapping at the waist. I bought a size 28 and I have a 28-30" waist. I can easily pinch two inches of fabric. Also wish the regular length could have had a 32" inseam. I am 5'7" and they are about .5" off the ground, but for me, the tall/long would need to be worn with heels (the light wash jeans would not look good hemmed). These relax a bit with wear, stretch to about 1/2 size bigger.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

I am tall with long legs and a bit of an apple shape. They were exactly the right length for flats (I have a 34 in inseam) These made me feel so trim and beautiful. The weight of the denim reminds me of the classic jeans I used to get as a kid. Substantial and stiff, in the way that good leather is stiff until you wear it and it fits to your body. I have high hopes that it will be a good investment.

First time trying these and they are perfect. Denim is not too heavy and not too light. Great cut and the fit is really good. I like that they are flared but not overly flared. Again perfect. The reg. length is good for me to wear a 2 to 3 inch heel with on my 5' 4 in. frame. These are so comfortable with just the right amount of stretch so looking forward to purchasing more colours.

I usually love BR denim. I purchased these in store and loved the fit, structure, and wash of these jeans. Unfortunately, they are unwearable after the first time I washed them on a cold delicate cycle, and hung to dry. The dye faded in random areas. I understand that dark wash denim is typically more sensitive, hence the cold wash. I've never had this happen before. I am so bummed because I searched all over for the perfect dark pair of denim wide leg jeans!

These have the perfect wide leg and high waist (but not too high). They're comfy and come in a great wash color. I bought two pairs because I liked them so much. For reference: I'm 5'8" & 200 lbs. A 32 fits me perfectly. #sweepstakes

Loved these but the waist was a little small, ordered a size 8. Fit great everywhere else. I returned.

Seriously too small, no size larger than a 31. Extremely disappointed!

gap.comSo, I have to admit that BR and Gap jeans just fit me so well. I really liked this dark indigo wash, but it was a little loose. I put it in the wash and yes, I prob shouldn't have, but I did...I put it in the dryer, and just a word of warning, IT SHRINKS quite a bit. I think it shrunk more than an inch in length. Mind you, I haven't ironed it out yet, but the top waist and butt still look great. But just to warn all your girlies who think putting it in the dryer for a bit will just tighten it a bit, I feel like it shrunk a full size.

I bought these jeans in the white color last year and the denim was so soft and had great drape. Buying it in the black this year and while the fit is the same, the denim is very stiff. I feel like the jean is wearing me, not me wearing the jean. I'm keeping them because I got a great deal on them, but I wish the denim was softer. I washed it and the color seems to be keeping, unlike some other reviewers who said the jeans faded horribly after one wash. For reference, I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and I bought the size 28. Length is good for me but definitely need to wear at least a 2 inch heel or the hem will drag on the floor.

Really wanted these to work. They definitely run small. Ordered up a couple of sizes. Still a bit tight but legs just were too baggy with weird bulge at tip.
