These have been my favorite winter layering pieces since they came out a few years ago - thin enough for under even fitted sweaters while still adding warmth, sleek neckline, longer sleeves, and soft fabric for next-to-skin. I wear them for everything from lounging, to hiking, to dressy events. I al...so love that the stretch of the material prevents a baggy look when sizing up - I have this year's red in xxs and xs, both look sleek and fitted (not too tight) on my 30A/25" frame, while the xs lends a bit extra warmth. All that being said, the thread that's used has always been *very* delicate. Every single one of these I've worn more than a few times (washed in laundry bag w/ecover wool soap) has had the wrist threads unravel. Just yesterday, I re-stitched the wrist of my red shirt which had started to unravel. Luckily I can mend things, but I shouldn't have to! The only other thing I'd say is add more interesting colors! This year's red w/slight orange cast is gorgeous - would love to add goldenrod, deep or bright teal, forest green etc. to my collection!
I ordered this shirt in 3 colors, hoping to love them. They are very thin, run small and a bit short. Two of the 3 arrived packaged as new, but the 3rd arrived a week later wrapped in wrinkled tissue only, as if it came direct from another disappointed customer. Banana, over the years, you have ...been a beloved staple in my wardrobe, some items lasting years if not decades. But something has changed with the quality of the merchandise. Sizing is all over the map, too. Please change it back!

It's super thin and I don't really see how it's wool at all. Feels like a bamboo pima material. So because of that the price is not justified. Nonetheless it's a not bad turtleneck. It's sort of see through and very thin.

"Luxe" says it all. This turtleneck feels so great against the skin! I saw this turtleneck online and thought "It's a pretty color, but I already have a similar camel turtleneck." Then I saw it in store and tried it on. Heaven! They didn't have my size in the store, but it felt so good that I ordered it online and had it delivered. Not sorry. This is the turtleneck I'll reach for again and again this season.

I loved the drape and feel of these turtlenecks but I of the two I bought, one became misshapen after the first wash (cold) and its cuff came apart at the seams. The other arrived with a hole in it. Very disappointing quality from BR

Fabric is lightweight so good for layering - or wear alone. Fits TTS but it is somewhat body hugging. I usually am Size S and that is what I ordered.

This is a great sweater - it is super stretchy and the neck is tight enough to stay where it is supposed to. I hate a droopy neck! It works as a first layer, but is substantial enough to wear alone.
