I love this skirt (I also got the denim version). It has a little stretch to it, petite version is a great length. I can dress it up or down and as for the high slit in the front only I pit grommets on each side and bought suede and leather strings so I can "close" it at the necessary length based o...n where I am wearing it- work or play. For reference I am 5.1 and 105 lbs 14 in waist and the 00 petite is perfect while the 0P has some room.
This skirt is pretty. However, the Petite sizing at BR leaves a lot to be desired. I wear a P12 mostly, but sometimes a P10. My waist is 31 inches. A Regular 10. according to BR measurements, has a 31 inch waist, but the P10 only has a 30 inch waist, making it too tight for me. The BR Petite si...zing stops at size P10, but the Regular sizes go all the way up to a Size 20. Although BR has some P12 items, there are very few. I need the Petite proportions and so a Regular will not do. I need a shorter torso, waist to hip, and hip to knee measurements. BR knows this about Petites, since they have printed it on their website for many years. They just aren't following it. I am very frustrated with the seemingly abandoning of Petite sizes over a P10.

I already had this skirt in a different color, but I wasn't sure that the 00P would work (the other skirt is a 0, and it's a little wide). I am in love with this skirt- yes, it's a little snug on the waist (why is the button places so deep!?), but it sits perfectly on the body. Gorgeous color too, although like other reviews mentioned is a deep brown with a hint of red in it. For reference I am 5.1 and 105 lbs.

Corduroy is darker than noted in the picture. I would size up if you were uncomfortable with a high waist I'm not a big fan of the front back slit, fairly high, will take it to a dry cleaner to have the front slip closed. Good quality.

This is some of the worst-quality corduroy fabric I've seen in years. It looks and feels thin and cheap, and was overpriced *EVEN* at 40% off. I could get better quality at big-bix stores. Extremely disappointing considering I have purchased many corduroy items from BR and GAP over the last 30+ years, and still have some great corduroy jeans from BR Factory Outlet that I purchased more than a decade ago which still look new despite many years of wear and dozens of washings. These skirts--both the mini and the midi--are junk by comparison. Returning immediately.
