Still love it after a couple of months and I've worn it a lot. Slight pilling which I used a depiller once to remove and it's been great. I have the navy & brown and always get compliments when I wear it. Love the oversized fit. I wear it with jeans, sweatpants, and the cotton wide leg BR pants. 2 c...olleagues ended up ordering as well because they loved mine so much. Also, generally LOVE the merino cotton sweaters this season. I've purchased 6 (3 different styles) and couldn't be more pleased. I find them more comfortable and durable than the cashmere. I don't seem to overheat or get itchy in them like I do in the cashmere. I find the cashmere pill significantly more and seem to thin out.
Disappointed with how Banana Republic handled their item arriving damaged. I sent pictures of the bag ripped and the hole in the sweater as soon as it arrived. They do not have an option to order a replacement for their damaged item. They pretty much told me too bad, you need to return it before we ...do anything about it. Meanwhile, they can't guarantee the same sweater, size and color will be in stock, and at the sale price I ordered when the return is complete. Now, I have to figure out when I can drive an hour to return their damaged item, hope it's still in stock and on sale. I expected more from this company. They put it on the customer to fix the issue.

This sweater is super classic and edgy on. The beige/white is a nice shade, it really nailed everything. However it pilled even in the store. I was really considering buying it even if I have to shave it but I found it expensive considering what I would get. I do appreciate that it's all natural fibers though.

Great oversized look. However, it significantly shrunk upon washing- and I followed the washing instructions. FYI, BR is not delivering all items in orders and then denies claims. Uses a 3rd party that makes it impossible to follow up and change the decision. Awful policy.

I really liked the weight and softness of this sweater, but it showed pilling on the very first wear and left lint everywhere. It was so bad that a friend rushed over to help thinking I had something on the back of my pants.

Description on website is navy/brown. Sweater is solid navy. And it's extremely heavy. My experience with merino wool is that it's always a lighter texture.

I am 5'11 and I bought the medium because I didn't want it super oversized. I love it. The color is vibrant and the additional detailed stitching on the shoulders and down the back makes it extra special.
