Not gonna lie — when I first opened the bag, my first thought was 'this is going back'. Not sure why I thought this jacket was going to be made of heavy, bulky leather and more padded. In reality, it's on a thin side and very light. But the more I played with it, the more it grew on me. The distress...ed leather is scrumptious and makes it super easy to pull the sleeves up the arm for styling which is a nice bonus because not very many jackets I own let me do that. The fit is generous (as per description). I took a small and it fits like a roomy medium on me (I am 5'7" and 140lbs) although the sleeves are JUST long enough if I wanted to wear them down. I think my only complaint is that removable shearling collar feels more like faux fur. If the label didn't indicate the fur is real, I would have never thought it was. It is on a thin side as well and I wish it was thicker — it would have made easier for the collar to stay propped up. As it is, it kinda flops down a bit (unless you fasten it closed with a buckle). Overall, I am pleased with purchase as it is a classic and pretty versatile piece — it looks great dressed up and down. The price IS a little steep though but I have no doubt cost per wear ratio would make it worth. Cheers!
Terrible chemical smell that even aired out in a separate room permeated the house. Thin, low quality leather and the distressing isn't well executed. I was so disappointed there was no garment bag or protection for an almost 700 jacket. I strongly recommend to look at other jackets as I'm concerned... this one will not last due to quality concerns.

You get what you pay for with this jacket. I bought this and another brand that was half the price to compare. I was hoping I would like the less expensive but there really is no comparison. The other one looks cheap but this one the quality, the distressed leather, the collar, the warmth. Is all top notch. I did take one star off at how pricey it is and I wished I could have used a coupon. It was sold out for a while but I snagged a small when it came back in stock. I checked every day!

The jacket is absolutely perfect. The fit is excellent and the weight is perfect. I almost did not purchase this jacket because it looked like a crop jacket on the online model. The length of the jacket came down to my hip bone. I am 70 years old and I thought the jacket would be a little too young for me. Boy was I wrong the jacket looks great on this senior citizen. I do no regret buying this jacket. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I had a leather addiction and was a bit surprised at the quality of this leather- the smell of leather is part of my addiction but this coat did not have it- a mix of something else. I'm sure it's real leather here at BR but I wanted to feel good like really good in this coat like I do in my leather jackets and this didn't have it. I'm a 32B and 26' waist at 5'0 and the smal size fit was good just not the density/fabric which is why I returned.

…the buttons along the collar that hold the detachable fur in place are a nightmare for my hair. I can't take off the jacket without spending a solid 3 minutes getting my hair untangled, which is an annoying and painful process. I might cut off the buttons and replace them with snaps—- but more likely I'll end up cutting off the buttons and losing the fur. Which is not what I want from a jacket that cost me around $800 after taxes.

As many others have said, this is an awesome, well made jacket. I am usually an XL and sized down to an L to get a slightly more fitted look (I don't need assistance up top to look oversized!) and that worked out nicely! I did find the sleeves oddly, a smidge on the short side though - and I do not have long arms! The leather smells lovely... The jacket seems to be made for cool evenings.. and it looks good whether dressing casual or business. I like it both with and without the shearling collar, but suspect I will wear it more often without. I can see many years ahead with this jacket!!!

Beautiful quality. Leather is soft. Smells great! I don't want to take it off. It's perfect. Fits true to size. I bought size small and it fits perfect for my 5'5" 135 lbs frame. Hits me at the middle of my hip and is not too tight like some bombers around the bottom.

The wash details and the buttery soft leather are sooo good. The jacket does have a bit of weight to it but I can't tell when I'm actually wearing it. I like that the shearling collar is warm enough for colder days but also detachable for other days. I am 5' 2" and 110 pounds with broad shoulders and typically wear XS-S. I purchased sizes XS and S and will keep the S. The XS fit just right on the shoulders, was oversized on the body, and a bit cropped for my preference. The small fit oversized all throughout and the arm length was better. I wish my local BR had stock so I could try on different sizes.
