I love it!

I am so impressed with this jacket. I haven't been wearing leather jackets for years so can't say how it compares to what is available on the market now. But I used to love leather jackets and bought a few jackets quite a few years back (all from Europe). This jacket is definitely made out of thi...

Fit and quality not good

I tried this on in-store in a size small. I am 5'2 for reference. I found the leather too stiff and thick. This is due to them using cow leather instead of a softer leather like lamb leather. The fit was also not good on a petite frame. It is too long. It looks huge on me despite fitting close to th...

Comments about Oversized Distressed Leather Bomber Jacket

This is a great jacket overall. Thick and heavy. The only thing, I recommend to try first before buying, as I tried 3 jackets of sizes S, XS, and all of them looked differently both in terms of fabric and fit. I'm S and took S. Although XS sits tighter, depending on how it was sewn, S was still better. And the leather material looks better as well.

Great quality jacket, I am size S and I took S. I tried 3 jackes of sizes S and XS and noticed the exterior looks different: one jacket was fine-grained and more polished paint, the other jacket was more rough and more shabby / looked more worn out, the third one was even more worn out. The last two weren't looking very flattering, so I took the first. My recommendation to BR is to make more fine and polished ones even for such a 'brutal' style, as they look nicer. Overall, great jacket, and size S sat much better on me than XS even oversized.

I'm 5'11" with 38DDD chest and curvy hips, and the XXL is perfectly oversized and long enough to cover my butt. It's a heavier leather, so it's pretty warm, but the zips on the sleeves mean you can open it up for air and movement. It's more of a distressed black than an olive green, but it makes any outfit look instantly more cool. Plus big points for a hidden inside chest pocket- that will always win big "cool dad" points in my book.

This jacket is great absolutely gorgeous but what I've realized is it has an incredibly strong smell that so far I've not been able to get rid of. I only have a few more days before I am going to be prevented ifrom returning it and I'm trying to air it out, but I don't think I'll be able to keep it because the smell is so strong. It's like someone wearing overwhelming perfume. My daughter noticed it right away and when I put it over a sweater and then took it off, I could smell it on this sweater for hours.

This jacket reminds me so much of my dad's from back in the day, but with a modern update! I ordered both XS and S to be sure I found the size I liked, and went with the XS. For reference, I'm 5'9" 130lbs, with longer arms, and the XS still worked. I'm also not completely into the giant oversize fit, so this version worked better for me (I felt like I was swimming in the S). If you can wait for it to go on sale, that's ideal given the price point. I just didn't want to miss out on my preferred size!

Gorgeous but way too big and long even for "oversized". I'm 5'0 and 105 lbs and got the size XS. The length of the body goes inches past the bottom my behind and the sleeves cover my entire hands. It's unfortunate that I have to return because it's such a beautiful jacket.

A stylish jacket for everything

I went into Banana Republic looking for a bomber jacket and I came out with this one! I was blown away with how stylish it looked on me - and although I was wearing business casual at the time, it was easy to see this was going to go over well with casual as well. The jacket tis indeed oversized but it doesn't look oversized on - but I admit I sized down. I am generally an XL but went for the L - which was still large enough for me to wear my (thin) business jacket underneath. It just hangs so nicely on me and despite being 'overwized' actually make some look slimmer. I agree with others that this is essentially a distressed black with some green hints in the distressed bits - but I'm good with that, I wouldn't have got this if it has been dominantly green It is a heavy leather which I like - feels durable. I wore it quite comfortably in 5C weather without having to layer up, so suspect as the temps hit the high teens, this is going to get a little toasty for me. But I truly recommend this jacket. As others in here have commented, it's a jacket for all occasions and I think I can finally shrink the pile of jackets I have down as this jacket blends in with my life from walking the dog to dining out to gping to the office.

More Black than ANY shade of green!

We looked at it in as many environments as possible and it's not green! I think an error was made somewhere along the way and they just decided to " SAY" it is green…,, maybe?
