The weight of the fabric is a medium summer weight. I normally wear a S but ordered a S Tall for length. The top is oversized, a little more than I would like and the elastic waist isn't snug. That may be because I ordered the S Tall. I really like the color so I will make adjustments on the wai...st and keep it.
It's a gorgeous dress but not right for my body :5'4, 135 lbs, pear shaped. The skirt fits perfectly, and usually I have more trouble finding things to fit my hips, but the blouse had too much material gathering at the waist and it's not flattering. I think if you have a long torso, or bigger chest ...you might not have that problem. I hoped they offered it in petite but unfortunately they do not

I loved it so much I bought a second one to have the other color. The material feels great, it fits perfectly and I get compliments on it all the time. I ordered a med, my usual size. I am an 8 to 9 in most clothes. I wasn't sure if it would be too baggy but it is not and wears well.

Super pretty and versatile dress in "summer black". The dress arrived with lots of creases, so I hope they steam out. XS is a good fit. As always, I would prefer petite sizing. I have not worn the dress out of the house yet because it arrived with the security tag still attached and I haven't made it to the mall to get it removed. Annoying.
