Okay, so lots of mixed reviews here. I think the bottom line is that this is just not a very democratic cut/fabric. There is no stretch to it, which makes it difficult if you have curves. I ordered my usual L, and I could get it on, but it barely buttoned across my 38 DD chest, and was tight around ...my bum/hips. Admittedly I do carry a bit of extra weight there. I did not find the fabric to be poor quality. In fact, I thought it was good quality. A nice weight. Tight, twill weave. And I liked the navy/paisley pattern a lot. I just needed one size up. So I purchased the XL. Personally, I like the design, I think it looks cool and modern with the sarong tie around the hips. It's just a hard sell for a lot of body types. And the fit could be better. If it works for you, in whatever size, it could easily be a summer staple for years.
I so wanted to love this dress. But the effortless look in the photo is unfortunately not what you get in reality. First, the fabric is nice looking and the shaping to the rear area is quite flattering. However, the top of the dress awkwardly has a lot of material. there is almost no way for the add...ress to sit open around the neck, even when it's unbuttoned. There's so much material, it automatically covers the entire chest all the way up to the top of the neck. The top of the dress awkwardly blouses out on the back creating an unflattering little pouch. And the tie/knot is unfortunate because the fabric is one-sided (the back is white-ish), so if the tie doesn't sit perfectly still and flat (impossible) is not attractive. Sadly, I loved the look of this on the website, but in reality, it would never look that way on your body.

The fabric is good quality, the length was above my knees I'm 5'3", the part I liked the most was the back at the hip the elastic detail is very pretty. I bought it S, I weight 100 pounds. Perhaps XS would have been more fitted, because the above part is very loose especially around the sleeve opening. But in general I liked it, look great with flat, sneakers or slightly high heels shoes. The color and the printed are beautiful.
