I'm 5'6" and these graze the top of my ankle bone and are beautifully straight cut making them a perfect pairing with loafers and heels. Material is soft, solid, and has a little give so the pants are exceptionally comfortable. I found them in the cream tone in-store and immediately came online afte...r leaving to buy them in navy. I also bought the jacket pairings. The pants and jackets do run a little bigger so I sized down in both to a 6, normally I wear an 8.
These pants have an excellent, modern cut with the high rise and slim, relaxed leg. However, the material is truly awful. Several other reviews mentioned it, but I ignored them and bought these pants anyway because it's so hard to find this cut at a reasonable price point. My loss, they were right a...nd these pants are barely wearable, the material is that bad. They look fine at first, but don't hold their shape at all and wrinkle terribly, so by the end of the day they look sloppy and baggy. They also have a subtle odor that washing has not gotten rid of. They're also not breathable at all so in just warm weather I found myself sweating (never had that even with 100% wool pants). I am not exaggerating, the material is awful. I've worn them twice and washed them once so can't return. For reference I am 5'6", 125 pounds, with a long torso and short legs - I got a size 4 which is the perfect relaxed but polished look, for about 30 minutes before they start going completely downhill.

Well made, good quality pants. Sizing was a big problem though. I'm typically a12, so I ordered a 22. They were swimming on me, felt more like a 14. So exchanged them for a 10, which are too small. Feel more like an 8. The size discrepancy between a 10and 12 is huge. I can wear the 10, but they are not comfortable and not as long as I'd like, even though they're a tall. I need them for an upcoming event, so I'm kind of stuck.

Great ankle length pants - I purchased all 3 colors. I love the material of the navy and black, wrinkle resistant (I travel for business) and easy to steam in the drier. The khaki color material wrinkles like crazy and doesn't improve when steamed. I don't know what's different but I don't recommend that particular color.
