Comfy and fabric feels soft and nice. I wish they were a little bit less wide and had a zipper pocket, but otherwise solid shorts.
Purchased the shorts. Added email address for promotion code. Did not receive promotion code. Contacted off-shore customer service for promotion code. Off-shore customer service wanted to "protect" my account and asked for billing information -- billing information because I asked about status o...f promotion code. Did not receive promotion code.

My first criteria is that I need to buy a 35 as I don't identify as a Medium or a Large in the Gap universe. You could probably say that i am a slim large or a fat medium ! As for the item in question. At 5 inch length you better have nice legs and be willing to share them with the rest of the world. If you never had someone compliment you on that particular subject you can either try it or be modest and go with a 7 inch. The short are made with some synthetic fiber and therefore the fabric kinda have a light shine to it but it also make them less heavy/hot in the summer. Some people need to learn to read the details of what they are buying before doing it and complain after that. The quality is great as you would expect it from people that are earning their life on low wages so you can buy a few pairs without having to sell an organ to buy them.
