I recently bought this pair of jeans and I'm really impressed. The fabric is sturdy yet comfortable, with the right amount of stretch. I have two pairs of these jeans that are a few years old. The fabric material (a blend of cotton and synthetic materials) wears down very strangely unlike my other jeans (Levi's) with some stretch fabric material blended with cotton . I am very dissatisfied with the way these Traveler pants have sto...od up to use compared with my other jeans. On the positive side, the pants are comfortable to wear and before the fabric issue, they looked great. What is the Banana Republic warranty for these expensive pants?

Banana republic jeans and chinos are consistently the best bit for me. I have slightly larger thighs from weightlifting, and they have just enough room around the seat without looking and feeling like a parachute. The stretch on the jeans adds another layer of comfort. Unlike many traveler/stretchy "formal" pants you can find out there, these don't have a strange sheen or giveaway that they're stretchy. They just look like typical jeans while feeling luxurious. The dark wash color I got has that "raw denim" look as well.
