Poor button placement

Earlier versions of this shirt had four neck buttons, which was perfect: I'd leave the topmost button open and it would look fine. With only two, I would either need to (1) use one button and wear a coordinating T-shirt underneath, or (2) button the topmost button, which is a look that I don't like....
