Poor button placement

Earlier versions of this shirt had four neck buttons, which was perfect: I'd leave the topmost button open and it would look fine. With only two, I would either need to (1) use one button and wear a coordinating T-shirt underneath, or (2) button the topmost button, which is a look that I don't like....

This polo is very soft, like it says in the name. And this particular color of green is very classy. Perfect shirt when the weather is in the 50s & 60s, pairing it with a nice leather jacket.
