Bought the navy in my usual size, S. Beautiful fabric! (Not a true seersucker, more of a crinkle check.) Would buy in pale colors or a cream also if available.

True seersucker is one of the lightest possible cotton fabrics for summer, crisp and cool. This fabric is not a true seersucker. It's a cotton blend and feels soft and heavy instead of light and crisp. It might be OK for fall or spring instead of the heat of summer, but I also was not a fan of the rather rustic appearance of the fabric, almost like a 19th-century tablecloth. BR's other seersucker shirt for women this season was much nicer and lighter -- a real seersucker. The black one was especially nice, although more jewel tones would have been nice; one gets tired of the drab and unflattering olives and off whites.

I like seersucker in the summer especially due to heat in Texas. This shirt is a blend which makes it lighter which is nice. I have not worn or washed this item yet so not sure of the care required. I usually wash on delicate & hang to dry which I plan to do with this shirt. The length is nice as its not too short, I am long waisted and I typically order a medium but chose the small for a more fitted silhouette.
