I happened to see this while in the store. I do not wear shorts but am a sucker for utility wear so I had to try it on. The picture on line does not do it justice. The top is sooo cute half way unbuttoned with a black cami showing. I wear skirts all the time so I would have preferred this to have had a skirt to the knees but I couldn't say no and purchased. Very comfortable fit. Could look great with boots or a wedge and crisp sneaker can work as well.

Doesn't quite feel like the original, it's like a "cheaper" knock off, the fabric isn't quite the same or the details. I still have my photographers vest that I bought in 1991, still wear it. The original BR was my favorite and the clothes were made so incredibly well...long lasting. I still have the safari shirts from when my dad bought them in the 1980s, they only get better with age. I was excited about these pieces, but they feel skimpy in comparison.

This would be so much better if it had a defined waist, like in the hand-drawn illustration. The actual item is a shapeless sack.

I have the original flight suit and always wished I had gotten this as well. The originals had way more tailoring details and what seems like a better fabric from the photo. I will pass. I would have paid more for the original detailing, why cheap out?

I've had an image of the original catalog page for this piece on one of my Pinterest boards for years, so when the chance to own it came I jumped! I paired it with a wide belt and the challenge is that, as beautiful and quality a piece this is, I genuinely look like a zoo keeper or park ranger. I've been leaning into a safari/ adventurer look, but even so I'm not sure what occasion I'll be wearing this for. I've considered returning it but it's just too neat getting to have it! Guess I'll see where this journey takes me.
