Over the last 5 years, I've returned almost 90% of what I ordered through the BR website for fit or quality issues. This skirt is the first item I've bought in ages that was well made: the fabric is substantial, the buttons and buckles are attractive, and the fit is flattering. There's just enough room to tuck in a blouse or light sweater, which means I'll get a lot of use out of this item. One final note: I'm 5'7" and don't find the skirt overwhelming, but I can imagine that a petite woman might feel the skirt was too volumunous.

The fit was larger than expected. The buttons were a bit difficult to open/close. I did love the fabric, the style and everything else about it.

This skirt is perfect. This skirt has the right amount of A-line to be flattering without too much fabric. The weight of the fabric is comfortable and structured without being stiff or too thick; it is not thin or clingy. The shape of the waist is extremely flattering. Please make this in olive, and in black, and in any other colors - I will purchase them all.

It is nostalgic- makes me nostalgic for the same waistline I had when I owned a very similar skirt early 90's. Alas my normal size 8 was way too snug. Debating it I should size up or leave the past in the past and return it. Material is nice, detailing is great, runs a little small.

All I have to say is - What took you so long! I love this stylish and versatile skirt. With pockets! These Archive Reissue pieces are so well-crafted, so comfortable, and so practical for work in the field. Are there more gems to come from your archives?

The material is very substantial and soft but the it juts out too far on each side. I got a small but should have tried an extra small which may have helped.

Super cute skirt. Great material and a simple design with added details of the front pockets, buttons along the side and sliding buckle tab at the back waist for a pop of interest. I wore with a light blue linen shirt and the skirt was SKIRTING with compliments. Subtle stretch lends comfortability. This midi skirt can easily transition from spring/summer with sandals to fall/winter with boots.
