I am 5'0, 157lbs, 10m postpartum with a curvy build. These are sooo cute. I got the Vanilla Cream in petite. Ordered a small and returned for a medium. Waist band has little give, so I found it a bit tight as I was pulling it over my hips. Wasn't spilling out over the top or anything, they sat ni...cely against my mid section. I tend to be in between sizes and would recommend going with the larger if you are too. The material is very comfortable and was not see through in natural lighting, did not get around to checking it out in sunlight. Would not call these postpartum friendly. My mom pooch sticks out through the fabric like a sore thumb, but I'll be wearing some shape wear to smooth myself out.
I was so looking forward to the blue linen. I have several of these painter's pants, but I returned them and told the store it must be a defect. The waist is not proportionate to the rest of the pant. I wear a petite XS. I am wondering if you are using a new supplier? I thought it was a one off pro...blem, but can see from reviews that is not the case. I am also very disappointed you have not dropped your petite shirts in the new colors. This is an unfortunate disappointment for petites.

Lightweight linen with a breezy movement. Color options. - I ordered 3. Lower rise is not ideal for me, but ok. The barrel shape is subtle, but more flattering on me than a wide leg pant.

The color of this fabric was great. However, the waist was so tight in comparison to the looseness of the pants, which are more of a barrel leg, and not flattering at all. Since the fabric is a linen blend, the waste is very scratchy. I sincerely wish BR would design more flattering clothing.

Love the chambray color and heavier weight linen with a great drape and wide leg. I bought in size small which is my typical BR size. Agreed with other reviewer it is harder to pull up over hips and waist is tighter than normal. A sizeup would be too voluminous in the legs. I wanted to order all of the colors but not with the tight waist.

These pants are so nice and comfy! I am 5'6 and I was a bit unsure of the length, I do not like cropped pants at all so I ordered in Tall and they fit perfect! Just what I was looking for, not short and no dragging either. Ordered the Olive green and blue, blue is not as bright as the picture so be aware. But other than that, very nice!

I got these pants in the chambray color and they look great-- they hang well and hit the sweet spot of being loose without being too voluminous. I am still on the fence about keeping them however because the elastic waist doesn't have a lot of give-- it fits well around my waist, but is a bit snug going over the hips. The waist has 2 thin elastics in separate channels, and the elastic doesn't feel substantial or very stretchy, so I worry about its durability. I wish they had gone for a stretchier waist or put in a draw string for back up (I find that linen stretches out with wear).
