I am 5'2, 27" waist and bought an XS regular. The length is perfect, full length but it doesn't touch on the floor. The fit is wide and oversized. The ties are functional and cinch in for a tighter fit. The fabric is very soft and comfortable.

I'm post partum and I'm loving the breezy effortless fit of these, and the red color is bringing me joy :). The fabric is very comfortable to wear, even on a hot day. I'm quite fussy with fabrics and for me these are the perfect summer weight, better than I was expecting based on others reviews. They come across extremely casual, I pair them with elevated pieces so they don't look like pj's. The side ties do somewhat cinch, although not easily. My only critique for BR would be to make the waists on styles like this more functional. Pairs amazing with a dark mossy green top!

I am 5 feet 165lbs and hourglass/pear shaped. I ordered the petite Large in black and these fit well, perfect in length and very comfortable across the thighs and hips. They fit very much in a Japanese style pant, high waisted and loose. However, there comes a point where you just have to say NO, I am not paying this amount for a product like this. I ordered these at full price and I just do not feel as though the quality justifies the price. In the product description it speaks about these being "cotton voile", which is generally a very soft silky cotton. The pants I received are thin but much more stiff and rough than a cotton voile. I am sure they will soften nicely over time however that is not what was advertised for the product. The waist is quite high, even in the petite, sitting almost 2 to 3 inches above the top of my belly button, depending how low you wish to wear these. Finding a top to look good with these is difficult as tucking something in looks ridiculous and because of the side ties on the pants, a top definitely needs to be cropped, further, the ties are cute but I do not trust them not to unravel in the wash. There are aspects of these pants I do like, however for full price, I do not feel these meet my expectations from Banana Republic. I feel the quality of these pants is 50% the current cost and the product is leaning on the Name Brand.
